YourStory, India’s leading digital media platform for entrepreneurs and startups, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sangeeta Bavi as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In her new role, Sangeeta will oversee YourStory’s end-to-end business operations, focusing on driving revenue growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and spearheading the company’s next phase of growth.

With over 25 years of experience across global technology giants like Microsoft and Nokia, Sangeeta brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in building high-impact teams and driving scalable solutions. Her extensive background in strategic leadership and business transformation will be instrumental in strengthening YourStory’s mission to empower entrepreneurs and startups across the globe.

Prior to that, Sangeeta served as Chief of Staff to the President of Microsoft India, where she played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and aligning business goals across the organization. At Nokia, Sangeeta led the Developer Outreach program, fostering partnerships with the developer community and driving innovation through localized solutions, scaling the program to Tier 1 and Tier 2 towns of India.
