Fintech unicorn startup BharatPe App has launched ‘Shield,’ a fraud protection plan for safe digital UPI transactions.
BharatPe Shield, which was created to give consumers a safe and worry-free payment experience, provides strong protection and smooth assistance against online fraud.

As part of the initiative, consumers who use the BharatPe App to make their first UPI transaction will get complimentary fraud protection for 30 days up to ₹5,000. Users can continue using the service after this free period for a reasonable monthly price of ₹19.
Commenting on the launch, Nalin Negi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BharatPe, said, “Safeguarding consumer transactions from online frauds and providing a safe and secure payments ecosystem has always been one of our foremost responsibilities.
