Distributor vs. Honasa D2C Brand Claims It Has No Assets in the UAE

A day after the Dubai court upheld its prior judgment mandating the attachment of Mamaearth’s parent company’s assets in the region, Honasa Consumer stated that it does not possess any assets in the UAE .

Honasa Consumer also noted in an exchange filing that the attachment order does not apply to its Dubai subsidiary.

This occurs one day after Honasa announced that the grievance brought by Honasa and its former distributor RSM General Trading was denied by the Court of Merits in Dubai.

These complaints included Honasa’s protest to the attachment of its assets in the United Arab Emirates and RSM General Trading’s petition to revoke the trading license of Honasa’s subsidiary.
