The first high-level exit from the Ola Group’s artificial intelligence venture Krutrim occurred just as the company was preparing to launch new goods and services, such as cloud and AI chip services.
Ravi Jain, the business head of Krutrim AI, has quit, according to an ET article that cited persons with knowledge of the situation.
Ola has been contacted by Inc42 to provide feedback on the development. The response will be used to update the story.
This coincides with the announcement by Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal of Krutrim to create India’s first indigenous chip family for edge, general computing, and artificial intelligence. Ojas for Edge, Sarv for general computing, and Bodhi for AI are among the processors.
