Sridhar Vembu, the founder and CEO of Zoho Corp, has stepped down from his CEO role and transitioned to a new position as Chief Scientist, where he will focus on advancing research and development.
Vembu shared his decision, saying it was important for him to dedicate his time to R&D and his personal mission of rural development, especially in light of the significant developments in AI.

Shailesh Kumar Davey, Zoho’s co-founder, will take over as the Group CEO, while co-founder Tony Thomas will lead Zoho US. Rajesh Ganesan will manage the ManageEngine division, and Mani Vembu will head Zoho.com.
Vembu expressed enthusiasm about the future of the company and his new technical role, stating that R&D will be key to Zoho’s continued success.
