The FLO WE-Pitch Innovation Challenge Contest was a dynamic project by Startup Odisha and FICCI FLO with the goal of empowering and honoring women entrepreneurs in Odisha. Celebrated on Women’s Day at O-Hub, the event gave forward-thinking women a lively stage on which to present their creative ideas and abilities.
With the help of partners like Startup Odisha and Falcon Real Estate, the FLO WE-Pitch Innovation Challenge Contest offered competitors a number of advantages, including monetary awards, recognition, and chances for incubation. Prominent luminaries like Smt. Sujata Biswas, co-founder of SUTA, Saveen Kaur Oberai, managing director of Oberai Hospitality, Dr. Omkar Rai, executive chairman of Startup Odisha, and other distinguished members of FLO Bhubaneswar were present at the event.

The event acted as a potent platform to elevate the voices of exceptional women entrepreneurs, since Odisha is home to over 1800 flourishing enterprises, with 43% of these startups being managed by female entrepreneurs. It emphasized how women’s distinct viewpoints and unrealized potential are valued in the startup environment.
