Unilever Ventures provides $2 million in Series A funding to Mumbai-based ClayCo. Cosmetics Private Limited in order to grow its product line and improve brand awareness.
Founded in March 2024, ClayCo targets customers interested in global ingredients like fermented rice and ginseng by fusing ancient beauty rituals with contemporary technology.
The funding is in line with the expanding Indian market for beauty and personal care, which is predicted to reach $28 billion by 2030 and is driving investor interest in cutting-edge BPC firms.
