According to Deepinder Goyal, the company’s founder and CEO, the new “District” app will probably go live within the next four weeks.
“At this stage, our main goal is to ensure that the business migration from the Zomato and Paytm platforms to the new District app is done well,” Goyal stated.
Following the acquisition of Paytm Insider, the foodtech giant’s going out business quickly expanded during the reviewed quarter.
In Q2 FY25, the vertical’s GOV rose by an astounding 171% YoY and 46% QoQ to INR 1,849 Cr. In Q1 FY25 and Q2 FY24, the going out arm reported a GOV of INR 1,268 Cr and INR 682 Cr, respectively.
The top line increased 214% to INR 154 Cr in Q2 FY25 from INR 49 Cr in Q2 FY24, making the improvement on the revenue front even more remarkable.
