Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) is leading a $10 million Series A fundraising round for retail advising platform Univest.
Several undisclosed angel investors also participated in the equity round. The startup intends to use the recently collected money to create a stock market superapp for individual investors.

“With this funding round, we are excited to accelerate our mission to democratise access to high-quality research. The funds will enable us to scale our research-first, full-stack brokerage offering,creating India’s first true stock market superapp for retail investors,” said Univest’s cofounder and chief executive officer Pranit Arora.
Because of its significant solutions and enormous development potential, Univest was chosen for the esteemed Google for firms Accelerator Cohort 2024, which ranks among the top 20 firms in India.

Retail investors can access a range of products through Univest’s mobile application, including tailored investment suggestions based on their financial objectives and risk tolerance.
