The talent marketplace FlexiBees has raised an unknown sum of money in its pre-Series A funding round, which was spearheaded by Inflection Point Ventures. Notable investors Shan M S, COO of Namma Yatri, and Reema Mahajan, founder of International Women in Dubai, also contributed to the round.

In order to better assist companies and talent, the funds will be used to develop technology infrastructure, improve AI algorithms, and boost market presence.

FlexiBees, a startup founded Shreya Prakash and Rashmi Rammohan, links female professionals with remote, project-based, and part-time jobs. Serving over 700 companies worldwide, it caters to both large corporations and rapidly expanding startups.

With over 60,000 professionals in its network, FlexiBees says it has placed over 1,400 women in flexible employment and impacted 20,000 women with returnship preparation and interview coaching.

Over thirty professionals, all drawn from their own talent pool, work remotely for FlexiBees as of July 2024.
