
Yotuh Energy Private Limited, a cleantech firm focused on electric refrigeration solutions for mid- and last-mile cold chain logistics, has raised ₹1.53 crore in investment. The Campus Angels Network spearheaded the funding round, which will help the company advance its aim of transforming cold chain logistics.
Yotuh Energy was founded in 2022 by IIT Delhi alumni Vivek Mahindrakar, Shaivee Malik, and Dharmik Bapodara and is currently incubated at the IIT Madras Incubation Cell. The company is committed to inventing electric refrigeration systems that minimize fuel consumption, reduce operational costs, and encourage greener industry practices.
The money will go into improving product development, testing, and increasing the staff. It intends to strengthen Yotuh Energy’s exclusive adaptive control technology, which optimizes energy usage and increases cold chain logistics efficiency. This move fulfills the industry’s requirement for long-term and cost-effective solutions.
Chandran Krishnan, Managing Director and CEO of Campus Angels Network, voiced trust in Yotuh Energy’s ability to transform cold chain logistics, citing their technologies’ greater efficiency, sustainability, and considerable cost savings for the industry.
The startup has received significant support from both the government and the private sector, including grants and awards from the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Acumen, the Australian Council for International Research (ACIR), the IIT Madras Incubation Cell, and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles.
Vinod Dasari, former Managing Director of Ashok Leyland, ex-CEO of Royal Enfield, and advisor to Yotuh Energy, lauded the company’s emphasis on sustainability and efficiency. He expressed enthusiasm for the potential influence of their solutions on the industry.
