Kiru Maikkapillai found his destiny as an entrepreneur while working as a business analyst at a famous bank in the USA and obtaining an MBA.
He noted that although a select few companies’ goods, such as Manuka honey from New Zealand, are available everywhere, Indian culinary customs are not carried on store shelves around the world.
This realization led him to return to Chennai, his birthplace, and begin an entrepreneurial journey by founding The Divine Foods in 2019. He had previously enjoyed a successful life and work in the US.
