EV startup Naxatra Labs has raised seed money in a round headed by GVFL, Delhivery founder Mohit Tandon, and Aspiring Minds founder Himanshu Aggarwal.
Among the other investors in the round are Sunil Kalra, Narayan (Ather Energy), Aloke Bajpai and Rajnish Kumar (co-founders of Ixigo), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (the founder of Paytm), and Nithin Kamath’s Rainmatter Foundation.

The research and production of axial and radial flux motor technologies for power tools, agricultural equipment, and electric cars is the main focus of Naxatra Labs.
The company has developed and tested a number of motor types, all of which are made in India, after more than four years of study centered on Indian driving conditions. In Ahmedabad, Naxatra Labs is currently establishing a production facility.
