In a seed investment round led by Endiya Partners and Yali Capital, with involvement from Whiteboard Capital and a number of angel investors, robotics firm Perceptyne has raised $3 million, or about INR 25 crore.
The company intends to increase customer acquisition, product development, and growth with the new funding.
Perceptyne, a deeptech robotics platform founded by Raviteja Chivukula, Jagga Raju N., and Mrutyunjaya Sastry, is creating agile, reasonably priced, and contextually aware robots. The PR-34D and PR-9D are its flagship products, which are single-arm and dual-arm robots.
By drastically cutting integration time (from quarters to weeks) and introducing automation without requiring modifications to assembly lines, it allegedly enables manufacturing businesses to expedite robotic automation.
