
Leading spacetech investor Ashish Kacholia led the $7 million (about INR 58.8 crore) seed fundraising round for XDLINX Space Labs. Additionally, E2MC, Mana Ventures, and an undisclosed family office participated in the round.
The Hyderabad-based business said in a statement that it intends to use the additional funding to build its own satellite and use it for its first commercial mission.
Rupesh Gandupalli, cofounder and CEO of XDLINX Space Labs, stated, “the funding… will help us to accelerate the manufacturing of next-generation payloads for defense and commercial missions like E-band communications, optical and RF intelligence to building space heritage, operationalization of satellite bus platforms and expand our global presence in the US and UK.”
