Spencer’s Retail Enters Quick Commerce Market

Spencer’s Retail, part of the RP Sanjiv Goenka group, has ventured into the quick commerce sector with the launch of its new service, Jiffy.

The service will first be available in Kolkata, with plans to expand across West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh (UP). Spencer’s currently operates 89 stores in these regions.

The RPSG Group is relaunching the Spencer’s app under the Jiffy brand, enabling merchandise delivery within 30 minutes.

FMCG, fashion, food, basics, general merchandise, personal care, household necessities, and consumer electronics and electrical goods are just a few of the industries in which the corporation sells retail goods.

Recently, both established and new players have entered the quick commerce market. Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart lead the industry, while newcomers like Flipkart, BigBasket, and Amazon are increasing their presence.
