The Health Factory, a Mumbai-based bread brand, has secured $3.5 million (INR 29.2 crore) in a seed investment round led by Peak XV Partner’s accelerator program Surge.
The business intends to use the additional funds to scale up operations and broaden its product options beyond protein and zero-maida loaves.
In addition, the funds will support the startup’s operations, personnel expansion, logistics, and research and development (R&D).
Vinay Maheshwari and Mohit Sankhala founded The Health Factory in 2018 with the goal of producing baked goods that promote the health and wellness of its customers.
According to the company, rapid commerce sites like Zepto, Swiggy, Instamart, and BlinkIt offer the products.
